Hi, I’m Liz!
I’m a writer, both for fun and for a living, and I dabble in photography on the side. Outside of this blog, I’m just a girl building a life she loves with her husband and doggo in southeastern Ohio.
I was inspired to start In The Haven because I really wanted to connect with like-minded people and build a community online of folks who want to live slowly and intentionally. Tired of social media, I wanted to find a place where I could share my life without needing to perform on Instagram or TikTok.
You’ll find a lot on this blog, but hopefully you don’t find it overwhelming. This space has become kind of just a brain dump for me: I share everything from my garden to my travels across the world. I’ve tried to organize it easily so you can find where your interests overlap with mine easily.
